How it works
With one sync, Mandato collects your LexNET notifications and assigns them automatically to the right matter by proceeding number. The document is filed in the matter, the procedural deadline is calculated and appears in your calendar, and the matter's team gets notified.
The matter is brought up to date: the document filed where it belongs, the deadline calculated in the calendar and the matter's team notified. Nobody downloads a ZIP and nobody re-types a date.
Assignment is not a shared inbox with mail rules. Mandato reads the proceeding number from the notification and matches it against the matter that declares it; where there is no clear match, the notification waits in a review queue rather than filing itself in the wrong place. We would rather ask you for one click than hide a mistake.
Procedural tracking
Every litigation matter keeps its timeline: notifications received, deadlines calculated and hearings — generated from the LexNET notifications Mandato syncs. The state of the proceedings reads at a glance and the history is documented without re-typing.
That timeline is also the answer to the question that always arrives late: what was received, on what day, and who saw it. In proceedings that run for two years and change hands inside the firm, the history stops depending on anybody's memory.
The regional notification systems — Avantius (Navarre, Aragon, Cantabria) and eJusticia.cat — are not available yet; we're still working on those. With LexNET, what already works is reception: we receive your notifications, assign them to the matter, calculate the deadlines and put them in your calendar. Filing written submissions from the matter is built but in the enablement phase — it is switched on firm by firm, and until then you file through LexNET as you do today. We'd rather tell you here than have you find out after signing up.
Frequently asked questions
Does Mandato replace LexNET?
No — it connects to it. LexNET remains the official channel; Mandato brings it into your practice management so notifications reach the matter and deadlines reach your calendar, with no manual transcription.
Can I file written submissions from Mandato?
Not yet. It is built and in the enablement phase: it will be switched on firm by firm, and we will tell you when yours comes up. In the meantime you file through LexNET as you do today, and record the filing in the matter — date, court, type of submission and status — so the deadline closes where the case lives.
How are deadlines calculated?
From the notification date and the type of act, applying working days and the court calendar. The proposed deadline is always reviewable by the lawyer before it's set — procedural responsibility stays yours; Mandato does the arithmetic.
What do I need to activate it?
The firm's digital certificate — the same one you use to reach LexNET — uploaded once from Mandato and stored encrypted. Configuration is done once and the whole firm is connected. It is a decision worth taking with the facts in front of you: the certificate is held encrypted and used only for the LexNET operations you authorise.
